Interview With 12 Clicks From 12 Clicks Cash
May 9th, 2007 under Interviews. [ Comments: none ]

12 Clicks Cash

Here is a really great interview we have done with 12 Clicks From 12 Clicks Cash There are some interesting questions here and some even more interesting answers that 12 Clicks gave to us in response to the questions. He has also generously offered to answer any more you may have so we are going to start a thread at Netpond which you can find By Clicking Here and ask 12 Clicks any questions you may have.

Political Questions

1. What do you think about Global Warning. Is it real or just a bunch
of bullshit?

No, there’s no doubt the earth is warming. However, so is Mars. Thinking that man is causing global warming is silly. Especially since the amount of CO2 produced by man is an infinitesimally small % of the CO2 produced by the oceans. The earth has warmed and cooled many many times. adapt to change, don’t cry about it.

2. Should the USA be in Iraq and if you would like to expand on it what do you
think the final out come will be?

Of course the US should be in Iraq. They were completely correct in going in and the two largest mistakes of the war were #1 not killing enough Iraqis and #2 allowing the media to tag along.
After 9/11, the US could not allow an enemy who possessed and used WMDs, harbored and financed terrorists, attempted to assassinate a former US president, and refused to live up to their surrender agreement to remain in power. It’s really very simple.
I believe the final outcome will be similar to the outcome among any group of savages. They’ll go on killing each other over their god whether we’re there or not. Because the US wants to always be seen as the good guys, we lost an opportunity to take all the oil we could from Iraq to help pay for the war and that’s a damn shame.

3. How do you think the USA President George Bush will go down in history
and how will he ever get out of Iraq?

He’ll go down in history as a failure because the people writing history are flaming liberals who will overlook the fact that his economic actions after 9/11 single handedly saved our economy from ruin, his attacks on both Afghanistan and Iraq were both swift victories, unemployment is low, no other terror attacks have happened on our soil while attacks on other countries have continued, etc. etc. The liberal trash currently in charge of our history will not even footnote the tremendous opportunities he gave african americans in his administration.

4. In light of the recent College Shootings at Virginia Tech what do you
think about Gun Control Laws in the USA and what do you think should be done.

I think the laws on the books should be followed. The shooter at VT had a history of mental issues yet was not blocked by the system from getting a gun even though the law says he should have been.
Overall, however, the right of the people to bear arms is as much a founding principal of our country as the right of free speech. Our fore fathers went to great lengths to explain how without the 2nd amendment, you have no way of protecting the first.
Our country to this day has the minuteman militia mentality of picking up arms to protect family/community/country and that mentality of self determination is what separates us from the rest of the world. This attitude, I believe, is part of what has always allowed us to succeed on the world stage. Other countries look at us and see us bristling with guns for “no reason” and tsk tsk our love of them and laugh at our assertions that we could actually pick up arms and fight off an evil government or a foreign invader but at the end of the day, we imagine what is possible and the rest of the world is busy explaining what’s not possible.
In a nutshell, the second amendment is a glaring example of how Americans are different from the rest of the world.

5. What do you think of Radical Muslims and what do you think should
happen to them.

Radical muslims should be killed, period. Anyone who wants to live in peace, should be able to. Any threat to a peaceful society should be wiped off the face of the earth.
The real danger with radical islam is the civilized world’s fear of killing their enemies. Somewhere in the last 60 years, its gone out of fashion to kill your enemies. This makes your enemies happy but in the end, it will spell the end of modern civilization if we do not wake up.
There is no time throughout mankind’s history where an enemy like radical islam was pacified with a negotiated peace. We arrived at where we are today as a society by killing those who would kill us. Only an idiot would think that if you stop killing your enemy, your enemy will stop killing you.

6 Where do you think Osama bin Laden is? Will he ever be caught? How
do you think he will play out in history 25 , 50 , 100 years from now.

He’s in Pakistan. He will not be caught until radical muslims kill musharraf and we go to war with Pakistan. Then we’ll find him or kill him. Not before. He’ll go down as the biggest terrorist of the century. The ignition of radical muslim’s war against modern civilization.

7. What political figure changed the world the most and why?

hmmmm, tough to say just one but lets run with Hirohito. If he had not attacked pearl harbor and had prosecuted the war for another year, all of europe including england would have been lost to the nazis and germany and japan could have squeezed russia and then turned to the US.
Bringing us into the war early saved us from axis rule.

Okay I think those should keep you busy as political questions and I for
one will really be interested to read your answers as I am sure a lot of
people will be. If you have some you would like to add feel free to do so.

Okay now on being a adult webmaster.

1. What is the one thing you think new webmasters just don’t get? And can you
please expand on it.

They don’t realize how hard they have to work to get their business off the ground. For example, my detractors who like to explain how I was just lucky don’t realize that for about 6 months my day went as follows:
7:00am wake up and get to my day job.
5:00pm go home, get cleaned up, eat dinner and relax until 8:00pm
8:00pm go to the internet office and work online until 1:00am-2:00am
2:00am-7:00am sleep.
repeat daily for 6 months.
And this is when it was supposedly easy. Imagine how hard you have to work now to get to where I am.
Also, the other things new webmasters don’t get is that people who’ve been successful for 10yrs in this business really *DO* know more than they do.
The fact that you CAN post on a chat board doesn’t mean you SHOULD.
people with a lot of posts looking to trade chat board points for 5 dollars of epass should probably not be the people you take business advice from
If 10 people who really don’t know about the business all agree about something, it does not have as much validity as 1 person who *does* know the business and disagrees.

2. In your opinion what is the future of TGP’s and marketing with them?

I’m really not much of a TGP guy but I imagine that the regular webmaster will eventually be squeezed out of the business by program owners just buying the spots. Think about it, what’s the difference between paying a webmaster or paying a TGP directly? The TGP will be easier to deal with and obviously, the TGP owner would rather sell off every spot he can.
bye bye TGP submitter

3. Do you think people are putting too much emphasis on Google and what
do you see as the future of Google. Do you see big changes in the future
or will search engines stay pretty much the same.

No, right now Google is getting the emphasis it deserves. Will that change? sure it will. There’s enough money out there to offer competition to google. (look at MS trying to buy Yahoo) There’s certainly enough money in MS to give google a run for it’s money. Search engines will continue to change but probably very slowly. google still does not have a handle on fraud which definitely holds them back from expanding their advertising base further.

4. Whats the main reason you think porn sales are down? How much do you
think all the free porn out there plays a part.

I don’t think sales are down at all, I think its simply a case of spreading sales among so many more people. While there is certainly too much free porn out there, sales are NOT down, they’re merely spread out among more people.
My opinion on free porn is that as bad as it is, there is no putting the genie back in the bottle so lets move on and do whatever else is best for your business.

5. Saw your thread about Google’s new policy towards Adult Domains. What do you
think was Google’s reasoning behind this. Do you think it was political
pressure from the USA or just Google’s Bottom line.

I think it was a multitude of negatives that piled up to make their decision easy. You’ve got various types of fraud including pointing high volume low value traffic towards high value ads, the stigma of adult in a mainstream marketplace, and a few other smaller issues that probably just made them say, “nah, this isn’t for us”
however, don’t be surprised if google pulls the rug out from under the rest of the domain parking market as well. The fraud factor looms large in mainstream as well as adult and google is propping up the entire market at its current levels. Mainstream markets are sagging and could be heading for another crash (my opinion on this is the main reason I came back to focus on adult) and with google helping to cut off its own popup nose to spite its advertising face, google has no strong way to assist its clickthru earnings.

6. Why should a webmaster promote 12 Clicks Cash?

Is this some sort of bone you’re throwing me? ;)
Well, many smart webmasters have figured out that 12clickscash.com has an earning combination thats tough to not at least give a true to.
#1 we use NATS which is completely unshaveable for those of you worried about the myth of sponsor shaving
#2 we have a $60.00 mondays promotion coupled with an 80% revshare if you don’t like PPS
#3 if you run our full sized banner in your sig on any of the major boards ( Netpond, JBM, GFY, PC) I pay you a 20% webmaster referral fee which is really sweet for webmasters when their referrals make a sale on $60.00 mondays. $12.00 drops right into your pocket for that referred sale.
#4 My tours are 100% leak free. (and I know how much that means to the netpond crew)
#5 I don’t spend a lot of time wooing webmasters so our stuff is not seen all over the net (some might even say I chase webmasters way from my program) ;)
#6 I have Cyndalie who’s one of the most knowledgeable people in our business who’s still willing to help people.
#7 My reputation is as good as gold among EVERYONE who’s anyone in this biz. Of course I may have detractors but they’re either thieves I’ve slapped out of my programs long ago or they’re people who just don’t like my know it all attitude. But seriously, don’t you WANT to work with someone who knows everything about the business? ;)

7. What do you think is the future of all the new Tube Sites (Video Sharing)
sites and what do you think will be their effect long term on the porn market.
Do you think their a great tool. Or is it just throwing more free porn
out there.

Great tool? no. tool we might as well use while its here? yes. I mean, it is as much a part of the free porn problem as TGPs but they’re both here so you better figure out how to use them. I think there will be many legal battle about copyright infringment, etc. but at the end of the day, porn is not going to sue them, porn will use them so even if the video share people can’t show copyrighted stuff, porn people will line up to participate.
So, as far as this goes, learn to use it and evolve your methods as the format evolves.

8. Whats the one thing you feel webmasters considering promoting 12 Clicks Cash
should know. Whats your biggest selling point.

I won’t answer this. I’m happy to do the interview with just one plug of my program. ;)

9. Where do you see the adult industry in 5 years from now and what do
you think is the biggest threat to it. Will the present affiliate system
of marketing survive or do you see more companies going to doing their own
marketing in house.

while 5 years is a long time, I don’t expect much change. I mean, look at 5 years ago. See much difference? I don’t. However, I do see the continued squeezing of the webmaster. Back when I started, it was easy for a webmaster to earn a good living just from webmastering. Its now going to be more and more difficult and what you’ll end up with is a webmaster work force made up of all part time webmasters. I also see a strong move towards in-house marketing of all types; SEO, SEM, blogging, freesites, tgp submissions, etc. as catering towards webmasters becomes more and more expensive.
It’s really not a pretty picture for webmasters. Sorry guys.

10. Whats the one thing you would like everyone to know about you 12 Clicks.

That I never, ever, ever say anything I don’t mean.
That I don’t care if my truths hurt your feelings
That my word is my bond
That as much as I make fun of others, I always make more fun of myself
That I’ll help absolutely anyone who asks unless you’ve badmouthed me first
And finally, that no matter how many men find me attractive, I’m STILL really not gay.

I will happily answer any and all questions people ask when you post this just as I did here:

Interview With Thomas Byers
March 12th, 2007 under Interviews. [ Comments: none ]

Thomas Byers

How did you get involved in the adult industry?

I started out with Herbalife
in 1984 and made some good bucks and then I found
Netpond and some other sites that are no longer
on the net today. I began to study , read and listen
and I did a lot of note taking and still do today.
I learned more at Netpond than I ever did anywhere
else. I used to listen to the Netpond Show each and
every week and I read the Netpond Board every day.
I learned ton’s from Sleazy Bears posts and also there
used to be a webmaster around named Serge that I learned
tons from. I think my first Adult Sites were in 1995.I
really laugh when I go back and look at some of them
but they made sales. I also was involved big time back then
in email marketing. It was nothing to do a mailing and
make 10-15 sales in a hour. My best day ever when doing
major email marketing was 166 sales. But I still get
excited when I see a webmaster post that they just got
their first sale. I am grateful to Netpond and the
people there for everything me and my family have.

What about Blogs. How did it happen?

I started out with adult Blogs at Blogspot in 1998
and built it up over the years to a $1000.00 plus a
day income. But I did it wrong. One day Blogspot
allowed adult blogs and then Google bought them out
and before you knew it really over night they shut
down all the big Blog Farms and some people including
me took a serious almost over night hit. I saw a $1000.00
a day income go down to $300.00 a day. And I knew I had
to make some radical changes to get back on top. Its
not been easy but today I own hundreds of domains on
several different hosts and I have feeder blogs on many
free blog hosts that allow adult content. The best one
to me of the free blog hosts right now is Thumblogger
at http://www.thumblogger.com/ I am also expanding out
into mainstream more and more. I really believe more
and more that you want to be extremely careful about
putting all your eggs in one basket. Always and I say
always have multiple income streams to cover you in case
you lose part of your sites one day.

What Is Thinking Outside The Box?

I see too many webmasters let others tell them exactly
how a site should look and work. If you have a ideal for
a site and you will if you haven’t don’t be afraid to try
it. Try your ideals as long as they don’t violate a
sponsors terms of service go for it. You never know you
just might make a few bucks.

What Do New Webmasters Do That Really Bothers You?

First thing that comes to mind is they piss off the porn
surfer. Don’t put active x bullshit and pop ups on your
site. For the most part the average surfer today has
them blocked and the ones that don’t your going to
piss off and lose. You should try everything you can
especially in today’s market to make Joe Porn Surfer
unhappy. One thing for sure make sure you tell him
how to bookmark your site and if its a blog how to
use your sites feeds. If you do it will bring you a
few extra dollars every week. And anytime you can
bring in a few more dollars you should.

If You Build It They Will Come ?

Lol? I stole it from one of my favorite films
of all time , Field Of Dreams. But its very important.
Every day you should try to build at least one new page
optimized for the search engines. And if you build it
they will come. I think of it like fishing. If you
go down to the ocean and put in one baited hook you
might catch a fish, But if you could put in 500 baited
hooks , 1000 baited hooks well you get the ideal. Its
really very simple. The more sites you have the better
the chances are that your going to get the sales that
you need to give you the income that you need to survive.
And that’s very important especially if you are a full
time webmaster.

What Are Your Plans For The Future?

I plan on opening a new multiple site pay site
of my own. Really it will belong to me and my
brother. We plan on having it open as soon as
possible and we have been working on it for over
a year now. We are almost ready with it and I
think everyone will be surprised at the quality
and new ideals we have as soon as we open it.

People Have Asked Why Do You Help New Webmasters?

I truly believe in trying to help others just like
I was helped myself. I really believe you should
try to give others a hand up. I believe in Karma.
What goes around comes around. I really believe
that if you help others that you will profit
from it also. Both with building up contacts and
I believe in Karma like I said. I believe you get
as good as you get in life. Its really one of the
reasons I have always liked Netpond so much. For
the most part everyone tries to help everyone else.

What Do You Think About The Future Of Adult Webmasters?

I think they have a very good future if they will
just stick with it and not give up. But at the
same time in today’s market I would advice building
multiple income streams. Check out mainstream and
try to make it a certain percentage of your business
plan. I right now am doing about 60 percent adult and
40 percent mainstream. I’m not going to give out
specific program urls but there are a lot of mainstream
programs that you can use on both mainstream and adult.
A lot of people miss these, T Shirts especially Adult
Humor sell well on Adult sites. Just make sure you
don’t violate any T.O.S. of any company you do
business with.

What Is Cabana 18 , Lets Find Out Here
March 4th, 2007 under Interviews. [ Comments: none ]

This is a interview done with Stephanie McGrath aka Harley Girl
from SmashBucks about http://cabana18.com/. You will find some
interesting information here.Have you always wondered about the lifes
of the pornstars well here you can join free and check it out.
Here’s the interview.

1. Q:What is Cabana 18?

A: Cabana 18 is a website for both surfers and webmasters. It takes you behind the scenes of the Adult Industry with a close look at our industry tradeshows, conventions and gatherings. What makes Cabana 18 so different from any other Media site, is that we broadcast live over the net from the various shows we attend. Conducting interviews from the Cabana. You can expect to see industry leaders, pornstars, models and anyone who would like to stop by and say hello. In the previous years things have gotten crazy during the live broadcast and we’ve had many memorable moments caught on film.
It also keeps everyone up to date on current industry events. Aside from the behind the scences we also offer free porn, site reviews, a community forum, and archived video from past shows. The site is completely free for everyone, all we ask is for a valid email address where we can send you a unique user name and password so you can create your very own profile within the system.

2.Q:How long has Cabana 18 been doing the “Live Broadcasts” and where was the very first one?

A: This will be our third year conducting the live broadcasts. The very first was done in San Diego at Cybernet Expo during the “White Trash Bash” where we has cams rolling throughout the entire party then the next was 2 years back during the AVN internext show at the Westin Diplomat. Unfortunately we did not have the Cabana18 site up then, but we do have footage available now in the archive section of the website. Since the first broadcast we have done several others. AVN asked us to come to Vegas last year and then invited us back for this past summers Internext Miami. Everyone loves the interviews and truly enjoys the wacky hours spent inside the cabana. We owe many thanks to our one-of-a-kind host Mr. Skin’s Derek! He has been a great host and keeps everyone on their toes once they step inside! This will be our very first year broadcasting live from “The Phoenix Forum”.

3.Q:Is Cabana 18 affiliated with any particular company or does it bring on advertisers?

A: SmashBucks currently maintains and runs the Cabana 18 site, but as far as advertising we have several companies that co-sponsor each event and also advertise on the site throughout the year. We are always open for new sponsors or anyone who would like to be a part of the Cabana.

4.Q:What can we expect to see during the Phoenix Forum?

A: WOW, well… i don’t know where to begin. First let me say that we are going to be dead center courtyard for 3 days consecutive days in our stylish Cabana. So who knows what you may see happen…lol. We do have several of our favorite stars lined up to speak with us again. Sunny Leone, Aria Giovanni, Martina Warren and many more. We have also added a new hostest to our family to assist Derek with this years broadcast, “Busty Angela” she is sweet, funny and smoking hot! There will be giveaways both online and at the Cabana for all 3 days we are there.

5. Q: What was the most memorable moment in Cabana 18?
A: Well, this past Miami Internext we had the pleasure of having many hot girls in the Cabana but the one that is most remembered is Jamie. She came in the Cabana with her friend Angie ( thanks to Vid Vicious ) and they first showed us what “french kiss” was… ( they are from Montreal, Canada ). Then Angie came back later that afternoon to share a very special talent she has with everyone, live on cam.
She setup a chair in front of the interview couch where we were all sitting watching her from about 5 feet away. It was Juicy, Curious Toy Boy, Pete_KT, Mr. Skin Derek and myself, she inserted a clear glass dildo into her pussy and within a matter of about 15 seconds she started to squirt all of us on the couch!!! Yes, she squirted all 5 feet and soaked us. I seemed to get the worst out of everyone, and because i was chatting with the members in the chat room my laptop got soaked…lol…
It was the most amazing moment, one that none of us will ever forget. The members in the chat as well as everyone standing outside the cabana were shocked. We can’t wait for Jamie to join us again!

6. Q: Why Mr. Skin Derek, How did he become the host?
A: Well the first broadcast in Miami 2 years ago we were suppose to have Vanilla DeVille as our hostest. She was unable to make it down to the Cabana and we were working hard trying to conduct interviews and run the broadcast when Derek stopped by for an interview with us. He sat down and he just had this natural touch for getting people to talk and made them so comfortable while they were in front of the camera. Not to mention he is one of the funniest guys i’ve ever met. It was meant to be for us, like Derek was meant to be the Cabana 18 host right from the beginning.

Thank you Harley Girl and If you missed the link and would like to visit and check out Cabana 18 you can do so by Clicking Here

Interview With RVince Owner Of HungCash

RVince

This is a interview done with RVince who started out
as a adult webmaster and now owns a great high quality
program called HungCash and it can be found at

http://www.hungcash.com/
He has some great POD tools you can use such as

No Affiliate Code Included

Sample Galleries No Affiliate Code Included

Sample Gallery 1 Click Here

Sample Gallery 2 Click Here

Sample Gallery 3 Click Here

If you check it out you will find its a Tranny Program
and a very high quality one at that with two great looking
sites. Which are Jamie Cox’s Web Site and their flagship
site VictoriaHolyns.com Victoria is currently among the
Top-10 she male models worldwide and working her way up
toward being one of the top she male pornstars and the
glamour touch of her pictures does the rest! The content
is very well done and you can tell by everything at HungCash
that its owner really cares about his site and his affiliates.
I have found that most webmaster programs owned by former
adult webmasters are usually really great and Hungcash lives
up to this completely. If you have tranny traffic or if you
are looking for a new tranny sponsor you really need to
check out this program. http://www.hungcash.com/

Below is a interview we did with RVince and he has a lot
of interesting things to say.

Q. How do you think starting out as a affiliate first and then starting
your own affiliate program effected how you set up your program?

A. Indeed, I started out as an affiliate first and for about 1 year my
business as an affiliate was my only revenue (supporting me, the wife,
the house mortgage and our 3 kids).

Then, when I decided to create HungCash and run my own pay sites, I
logically made things easy for the affiliates by providing all the
things I like and use as an affiliate on other programs: tours with no
traffic leaks, enough content to promote the site, hosted galleries,
blog plugins, enough updates to get members to rebill, good email/ICQ
support & etc.

Q, Who or what do you credit for your success today?

A. Who: Sleazybear, _LB_, REBEL, Krusty, Basschick, Meat, Aga,
CuriousToyBoy and all the people who spent lots of their precious time
to answer to all my questions.

If you can go to one of the adult webmasters meetings at least once, by
all means do so! No matter whether you live in the USA, in Europe or
elsewhere, there will be a webmaster gathering you’ll have to attend.
You don’t have to go to every show (I’ve only been to one so far and
looking forward to go to my 2nd), but while boards in general and
Netpond in particular are great, nothing replaces face to face meetings.

What: Hard Work! Find out what are your weak and strong points and work!
I must confess I’m a total computer geek (I have a masters degree in
software engineering and another one in applied mathematics) and I’m
totally unable to create a decent banner (Did I mention I’m colorblind
too?). So I’ve often traded my “sysadmin/programming/script
installation” ability against graphical design, as well as with some
proofreading as english isn’t my first language.

Simply said, motivation is the key: Most people have the abilities to
become a successful adult webmaster but they don’t persevere long
enough to succeed.

I think that one of the keys to my success as an adult webmaster was
that I challenged myself to succeed: I saw many people who were less
tech-savvy than me, in the biz for a relatively short time (less than 3
years) and yet making good money, so I decided that I’d try that too and
not stop until I’d make some decent money.

Q. What do you feel is the strongest selling point of your program?

A. There are many “solo model” shemale sites, but most of them are hardly
ever updated, have tons of traffic leaks and affiliate support sucks (if
there is any).

As an affiliate I did insanely well with some of the very few good solo
shemale sites, but had a hard time finding good ones to promote, so from
there I decided to team with models to set up and run their paysites:
They produce good content, I take care of the rest and we share the
benefits :-)

And since the models I work with get a share of the sales on their
sites, they are directly motivated to make good content, talking with
members on the site forum, etc… so this is a “win-win-win-win” deal
for the surfer, the model, the affiliate and me.

I currently only run 2 paysites, but 2 more are in the works. All the
content is shot and ready, I just need to finish the work on the tech
side (and one of my new models is a dickless chick! :-) )

Q. What advice would you give to a brand new webmaster starting out
promoting your program?

A. Most affiliates (me included) focus on the most feminine looking
shemales when they start out, but there are a lot of fans of
crossdressers too! However there are _very_ few decent crossdresser sites to
promote, which is why Jamie Coxx’s site does so well too. So don’t be shy and try your
luck, I’m sure you’ll love the results. (crossdressers are to be
promoted the same way than shemales: They are chicks with dicks, not
guys in drags!).

Q. As a program owner what do you think most programs are missing that
yours has and explain what your saying a bit if necessary?

A. A crossdresser site! (And if you think a guy in drags is gross, just try
to promote Jamie’s site with your straight/shemale traffic first, and
then we’ll talk :-))

Q. What do you hope for the future for your program?

A.
The plan is to double the revenue within the next 6 months.
It looks ambitious, but with frequently updated sites, rebills are very
good so I’m not too worry about it.

Also, as said above, I have 2 sites in the works and will probably work
on developing those sites before to try to open more sites. I’d rather
have 4 active and well working sites rather than 20 shitty sites.

Q. What plans do you have for the future for HungCash that you can tell
us about now?

A. I have 2 new sites in the works: a mature TV site and a GG (=genetic
girl) site, I’m also working on some more new tools for affiliates.

Q. What concerns you most about the future of the entire adult webmaster world?

A. Actually I’m not worried.

I’ve only been in the adult webmaster world since 2004 (used to be a
computer network security expert before), but I don’t see any major
problem in the near future. Sex and fantasies sell, period!

Q. Your Blog http://www.hugenaturalslovers.com/ is really nice. How long
have you been working
on it? And how do you do with it as far as sales? and traffic?

A. This site has been up for about 1yr and was one of my first attempt at
adult blogging. It turned out to work great and provide a better ‘$
earned per worked hour’ ratio than making TGP galleries, so I’m now
fully transitioning from TGP galleries to blogs as my main promotion
tool for all the niches I do (shemales, big natural tits, femdom mature,
bbw). [Shameless plug: hit me for hard link trades on my blogs! ;-]
Also, not depending on other webmasters/partner accounts is a very nice
bonus.

Q. How do you feel about the future of Blogging and its future to the
adult webmaster.

A. I don’t think what matters most is whether your site is a blog or not.
Any good site with good pics and teasing sales text have the potential
to do well, blog or not.

Blogs are indeed a very convenient way to have good looking and
frequently updated sites, but what matters the most to me is the sales
text. Make sure you write at least 250 words on every of your web pages
and search engines will love you.

Q. What would you like to be doing 5 years from now and do you have a
plan your following?

A. Yes, I definitely have a plan I’m following and I hope you’ll forgive me
for not telling more about this :-)

In 5 years from now… I’m not sure if I’ll still be working as an
affiliate… probably not, but then again it can be an extremely
lucrative business as there’s no need to have to bother with sites
updates, moody models & co.

I definitely hope that by this time I’d be running between 5 and 10 good
and stable pay sites that will provide most of my income. I definitely
think I’ll have a few employees by then too.

Q. What advice would you give to a brand new adult webmaster starting out today.

A. Random advise :-)

- Work smarter, not harder.

- Don’t go for the quick buck, invest it long term sites.

- Pick a niche (or a few of them) and learn to sell it well: Trying to
sell a she male as a “guy with boobs” will _NOT_ work, trying to sell a
27yr old woman with pigtails as a teen will not work either, etc… Research
your niche, learn how to sell it and stick to it.

- Once you know which niche(s) do well for you try to know which niches
are the closest from yours. For example she male fans aren’t likely to
buy Gay or Bisexual content, but they seem to love Femdom/Strap-on. Use
this info wisely when trading with other sites or suggesting alternate
links or your free sites/pages.

I can’t stress enough how Netpond has been a golden key to my
current situation. I do visit a few boards every day, but Netpond is
definitely far ahead for helping newbie’s to succeed. Its forums are
full of invaluable info! In particular the Newbie forum and
Sleazybear’s posts.

- Define a work schedule and stand by it, tell your friends/family not
to phone you during your work hours.

Interview with Meat From Netpond
February 26th, 2007 under Interviews. [ Comments: none ]

Here’s a short but very interesting interview done with one of the
Netpond Owners Meat.
image hosted by ImageVenue.com
In it he covers some of the most
interesting facing the adult industry today and gives us
some other great information.

1. How did Netpond get started?

Netpond was originnaly named Condom (coalition of new dynamite orgasm makers)
and started becuase the only board at the time (YNOT) was a closed shop for
getting advice or help to get started, and was like the wild west with
newbies being the targets of choice. I decided to start a newbie friendly
forum and with the assitance of some very helpful people who responded
to my invitation to join me in condom it just grew like wildfire.

2. What do you think might be the next big thing for the porn industry?

The next massive thing is IPTV its hot, its going to be a goldmine
and create many new revenue streams and change how alot of porn
companies do business, it will do to internet and tv what skype
and the like are doing to telecoms cuureently, disruptive technology at its finest.

3. If you were just starting out today as a new adult webmaster what
do you think would be your biggest challenge?

Same as it always has been, how to get traffic, even
more difficult now as every main traffic hub seems to have a complete
seperate set of rules with hardly anything being standardised. Biggest
challnge would be learning about search engines and trying to develop
an independant traffic source to feed the growth of my new porn empire

4. What do you think will be the future of TGP’s?

Adapt and continue I guess, traffic is king in this game and anything
that generates traffic will need govt regulation to kill.

5. Where do you see the adult industry in 5 years

Tough to say really, think it will depend on U.S. govt policy and if they
go after porn like they are going after gambling currently, but I been in
game for 15 years and skys been falling every year since so unless something
massive happens in form of clampdown I prob see it continue to grow but with
less major players.

6. What one thing do you think might effect the porn industry as a whole in 2007

The major thing I belive is going to come from the hard approach to virtual
payment processors like neteller etc with the laundering issues, as the
industry loses these forms of commerce for dealing with affilaites and such
its going to make the game alot tougher for alot of companies and webmasters
who rely on these payment methods, will be interesting to see how Epass will
go over the next month or two.

7. Can you point out the best thread you ever saw posted at Netpond ?

It was my thread welcoming everyone to condom, it was about 30 message board
scripts ago and could only be found with the wayback machine now lol

8. Whats the one thing you think adult webmasters could or should do to improve conversions.

Learn about your target audience, if your targeting niches or gay markets don’t
try and sell to them how you think they should be marketed, go to a community board
and learn how they market themselves, learn the launguage and technicques from
the people your trying to sell to.

9. Can you tell us what you think about the ,XXX issue and how you think it will
effect everyone.

WHOs pushing it? What are there REAL motives for pushing it and WHY are they pushing
it..It could be a disastor for the industry, I dont see any positives for it only
negatives but see a few people filling there pockets with it whilst setting the path
of destruction.

10. Is their a question I didn’t ask you would like here and a answer for it please.

Whats my favorite sponsor program? Cash Uncovered of course lol
